Paradise Nature Reserve was established in 2002 and is located entirely within Huddinge Municipality. The total area of the reserve is 758.7 hectares, of which 712.5 hectares are forests and marshes, 25.7 hectares of land and pasture, and 20.5 hectares of water. The area offers a great way to experience the swedish nature. And also offers good camping ground.
If you'd like know more about the hiking trails in this area you can read about that here.
The nature area around Paradise was included in the purchase of Lissma in 1951. The Stockholm Sports and Outdoor Board took over the supervision and started some work with the joints. In 1959, Orrkojan was built by the association which otherwise until the mid-1990s concentrated its work on the resting-house and the buildings around the yard. In 1973 the Sörmanland Trail was pulled through the area and that trail with its blades was made in order.
